Ankush Chaudhary - Triple Seat
The love triangle with a hero and two heroines is not new in Hindi and Marathi films. The film Triple Seat is also the love story of the same genre.
The film offered an opportunity to Ankush Chaudhary to play the role of a hero involved in a love triangle. The flick proves to be an entertainer due to its soft handling and subtle comic tone.
Ankush is popular for playing lovable characters and his fans and well-wishers also love to see him in such a role. He plays such roles with consummate ease and in this film too he has proved equal to the task.
He has essayed the role of Krushna in his own inimitable style. He enacted the character of an ideal lover and presented in a very comic way how he handles the situation that arose after a missed call.
The film was released on October 25, 2019. It turned out to be an average film on the box office and recorded a business of Rs 76 lakh.
Amey Wagh - Girlfriend
Amey Wagh has enacted the character of a present-day youth Nachiket in the movie Girlfriend. Today, not having a girlfriend or not being in any relationship leads to social pressure on youths. They face the pressure from family, friend circle, at workplaces, colleagues, in society and from self too.
It has become mandatory to declare one’s relationship status in the present era of social networking and this is doubling the pressure on such youths. Nachiket does not have a girlfriend. He instead of going into depression finds a solution; he opens a fake account on Facebook and declares himself a youth in relationship with a girl. His trick neither harms anybody nor tarnishes reputation of anybody. The youth is in love with his imaginary girlfriend. Amey Wagh enacts the character of Nachiket with great ability and apt body language.
Amey, who has played the role of smart character in Faster Fene, has successfully played Nachiket, who is exactly contradictory to Faster Fene. This movies was released on July 26, 2019 and has made a business of Rs 80 lakh till the date.
Bhau Kadam - Nashibvaan:
In this movie, Bhau Kadam plays the role of Baban, a sanitation employee of Municipal Corporation who is fed up with his poor financial condition.
Baban lives in a small house, has meagre salary and is being pestered by a credit cooperative society for repayment of loan he had taken for a modest accommodation in a chawl. Anybody facing such challenges will be fed up and so is Baban.
Suddenly his fate changes. One day, he goes to
clean a gutter in a building. While working, he hits a wall with his broom. A piece of brick falls and he peeps into the hole on the wall and sees his destiny. With this begins a prosperous phase of his life.
He has skilfully and convincingly presented difference between poor Baban and rich Baban. The movie was released on January 11, 2019, but did not do well on the box office. It did business of Rs 27 lakh.
Chinmay Mandlekar -- Fatteshikast
Like Farzand, actor Chinmay Mandlekar has played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film Fatteshikast too. With brilliant acting skills he has brought the character of Shivaji Maharaj to life.
Fatteshikast is based on a battle the great king fought with guerrilla warfare technique. Chinmay Mandlekar took the first surgical strike made by Shivaji Maharaj to a great height through his acting. The cinema was released on November 15, 2019 and collected revenue of Rs 9 crore.
Lalit Prabhakar - Anandi Gopal
In the film based on the novel Anandi Gopal, Lalit Prabhakar played the role of Gopalrao Joshi. In the later half of the 19th century, it was considered anti-religious for women to venture out of house, obtain education or even go out with husband. However, Gopalrao Joshi did all this and encouraged his wife to obtain education.
Gopalrao Joshi himself taught his wife and then sent her to America to pursue medical education, that too all alone. Lalit Prabhakar has effectively portrayed the man who stood behind his wife for education for which he fought against the society bogged down by archaic traditions.
The film was released on February 15, 2019 and did the business of Rs 11 crore.
